Inside Jewish Argentina is an opportunity for the adventure of a lifetime! Visit vivacious neighborhoods and take-in the natural beauty. Dance tango, meander through the winding streets of Buenos Aires and experience the fabulous craft markets. You’ll also learn about the value of global Jewish responsibility through engaging with local Jewish institutions and community members and learning about JDC’s critical work in South America.

- Experience Buenos Aires’ famous sites – Plaza de Mayo, Recoleta Cemetery – and trendy neighborhoods such as Palermo, La Boca, and San Telmo.
- Participate in dynamic conversations around the value of global Jewish responsibility Engage with Jewish institutions in Argentina participate in exchanges with local community members and young professionals.
- Learn about JDC’s critical interventions during and following the 2001 economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic in the areas of medical and welfare assistance, jobs training, elder care, and beyond.
- Immerse in the local culture – dance tango and listen to cumbia, stroll through craft markets, drink Yerba Mate, enjoy asado a la parilla (BBQ), and more!

We understand that our participants contribute significantly to the trip experience and that financial circumstances vary among our participants. We have a generous donor community that ensures participation fees for all Insider Trips are highly subsidized to provide greater access and opportunity for participation. To ensure accessibility and equitable opportunity, we are able to offer additional financial subsidies based on each participant’s ability to contribute to the cost of the trip. How it works:
Applicants accepted to an Entwine trip will receive a form to indicate need for additional financial assistance (up to 50% of the participation fee). Our team will review inquiries submitted on a case-by-case basis and inform individuals via email if we are able to offer them additional subsidies. Note: if additional subsidies are offered, the subsidy can only be applied towards the participation fee – participants are responsible for flights.
