Join JDC Entwine and Jewish Federation of San Diego on a journey to Argentina and Uruguay! Both of these Latin American countries boast vivacious cities and natural beauty. Dance tango, meander through the winding streets of Buenos Aires and experience the famous historical sites of Montevideo. You’ll also learn about the value of global Jewish responsibility through engaging with local Jewish institutions and community members, and learning about JDC’s critical work in these countries.

- Experience Buenos Aires’ and Montevideo’s famous sites — Plaza de Mayo, Recoleta Cemetery — and trendy neighborhoods such as Palermo, La Boca and San Telmo.
- Participate in dynamic conversations around the value of global Jewish responsibility.
- Engage with Jewish institutions in Argentina and Uruguay and participate in exchanges with local community members and young professionals.
- Learn about JDC’s critical interventions during and following the 2001 economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic in the areas of medical and welfare assistance, jobs training, elder care, and beyond.
- Immerse in the local culture — dance tango and listen to cumbia, stroll through craft markets, drink Yerba Mate, enjoy asado a la parilla (BBQ), and more!
