Entwine is a one-of-a-kind movement for young Jewish leaders, influencers, and advocates who seek to make a meaningful impact on global Jewish needs and international humanitarian issues.
We do this by offering service experiences in Jewish communities around the world, educational events and programs, and leadership development opportunities.
Entwine is for you if you're:
- Interested in learning about the needs of Jewish communities in countries like India, Argentina, Turkey, Hungary, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Israel and beyond
- Ready to take action that will make a real difference in these communities
- Excited about building relationships with Jews around the world
- Open to taking greater responsibility and more of a leadership role in the global Jewish community
Entwine is an initiative of JDC, the largest Jewish humanitarian organization in the world. JDC works in 70 countries, specializing in humanitarian aid, Jewish community renewal and disaster relief.
Entwine has created locally-based Learning Networks on global Jewish issues in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Houston. Young activists in each city plan volunteer-led events that feature meaningful, peer-to-peer education, combined with socializing and networking
Entwine offers a continuum of service opportunities for young Jewish adults who want to make an impact in overseas Jewish communities, in Israel, or in other locations where JDC is involved in non-sectarian development work. Service experiences take place in countries around the world, including in Argentina, China, Ethiopia, Germany, Haiti, India, Israel, Russia, Rwanda, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Our leadership opportunities are avenues for up and coming influencers and uniquely qualified individuals, interested in greater responsibility and commitment to overseas needs and issues, to engage with JDC. Entwine offers a set of uniquely crafted pathways for Jewish professionals and lay leaders to make a difference internationally.
